As a Legal Intern (Intellectual Property
– Patents), you will be responsible for:* Preparing legal analysis to support the Attorneys and Paralegals in the Department* Reviewing and presenting recent case law updates in intellectual property* Coordinating patents searches* Taking part in knowledge exchange with various working teams throughout the companyThis position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers* You have completed studies in a science technology field* You are presently attending law school, having completed a patent course and intend to further develop in intellectual property law* You are interested in learning of the various tasks, challenges, and skills acquired in a legal in-house position.* You have a good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)* Since you are interacting with different working teams and businesses, you have good presentation skills, show team orientation, and excellent communication skillsRequired skills to have for the success of this role* Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering* Located 50 miles or less from the Malvern, PA to commute to office if COVID guidelines allow; must feel comfortable working in a fully virtual environment if needed* Relocation/housing stipend will not be provided for this role* Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher* Must have permanent work authorizationStart date: May 2021; 3-4 month duration.At Siemens Healthineers, we value those who dedicate their energy and passion to a greater cause.
